Common questions

Water heater FAQ

How long does a water heater last in Austin?
Tank heaters last 8–12 years here; our hard water shortens that. An anode rod change every 3–4 years adds years to the tank.
Should I switch to tankless?
If you have a gas line and a household of three or more, tankless usually pays back in 7–9 years. We’ll run the numbers for your home on site.
Do you install on weekends?
Yes — seven days a week, at the same flat rate. No overtime charges.

Emergency? Water on the floor?

Turn the cold supply valve on top of the tank clockwise, switch the unit to “vacation” or off, then call us. We’ll guide you on the phone.
